Margot “Ann” Lichtenberg (née Morrison) of Kincardine, died at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Thorpe “Mate” Lichtenberg (1990). Loving mother of Sally (Bill Smith) Lichtenberg of Kincardine, and Thorpe (Kelly) Lichtenberg of South Riding, Virginia. Remembered by her sisters-in-law, Mary Morrison of Thunder Bay and Jean Lichtenberg of Royal Oak, Michigan. Cherished grandmother of Lydia, Margot, Thorpe, Tyler, Emily, Ben and Hilary. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her parents, George and Nan Morrison; and brother, George Morrison. Ann was an avid golfer, and was a director for years at the Kincardine Golf and Country Club. Visitation will take place Saturday, March 31, 2018, at the Knox Presbyterian Church, Kincardine, from 10 a.m. to Noon, with a memorial service to celebrate Ann’s life to follow at Noon. A reception will take place following the memorial service. Final resting place, Kincardine Cemetery in summer 2018. Memorial donations to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society, would be appreciated as expression of sympathy. |
