Shirley Mae Twolan, beloved wife of the late Bernie Twolan, of Ripley, died Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at the Kincardine hospital, at age 68. She was born in Pembroke, Ontario, Aug. 6, 1947, daughter of the late Ilene and Bernard Juby. Greatly missed by sons, Mitch (Brittny) Twolan of Point Clark, Clint (Shaena) Twolan of Princeton, and Steve (Julie) Twolan of Point Clark; and grandchildren, Brandon, Kyler, Emma, Bronwyn, Amelia, Slade and Sophie. Survived by nine brothers and sisters, Gary (Diane), Wayne, Clifton, Kevin, Faye, Glorianne (Claude), Cathy (Tommy), Brenda and Dorothy (Andy); brother-in-law, Jack (Madge) Twolan; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings, Garland, Donna and Carolyn. Visitation will be held at the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home, Ripley, Sunday, July 24, 2016, from 1-4 p.m. The funeral will be held in the chapel, Monday, July 25, 2016, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Lynda Janzen officiating. Interment, Ripley Cemetery. Donations to the Ripley Fire Department, Ripley Minor Sports or a charity of your own choice, would be greatly appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
