Team of horses at IPM has local connection as well, says reader

September 23, 2016

Good Morning, Liz:
RE: "There's just no taking a day off with this job"

I'm glad you like the big horses at the International Plowing Match. There is a local connection there as well.

Mike Geddes, son of Don and Marilyn Geddes of the Southline, Kincardine, lives in Clarksburg and brings those big beauties to several events, including the Kincardine Scottish Festival Scottish and many other parades that have happened over the years in Kincardine.

So many locals taking in an amazing event - you just never know who you will see out and about!

Keep up the good reporting!
