A great crowd lined Queen Street in downtown Kincardine for the Clan Parade, part of the Kincardine Scottish Festival, Saturday, July 8.

The Kincardine Legion Colour Party led the parade, followed by the Kincardine Scottish Pipe Band with drum majors Lorne Smith, Nick Wood and George Alderman in the lead.

Falling in behind, were Clan MacLeod, the Clan of Honour, and several other clans, as well as numerous pipe bands, the athletes with the heavy events, sponsored by Ontario Power Generation (OPG), and dignitaries, including Grand Marshall Mike Rencheck and his wife, Carol; Grand Chieftain Bill Murdoch, Huron-Bruce MP Ben Lobb, and Kincardine mayor Anne Eadie.

Mike Geddes of Clarksburg also drove his team of Clydesdales in the parade.

The Clan Parade turns onto Queen Street and travels through downtown Kincardine to Victoria Park, Saturday, July 8
