Little Beginnings opening second location in former Scottish Shop next month

August 23, 2017

Little Beginnings, a daycare and learning centre in Kincardine, is opening a second location in the former Scottish Shop on Durham Market North, offering specialized before- and after-school care programs for children up to age 13.

The daycare's owners plan to license additional toddler and pre-school classrooms in late fall due to the wait-list at its current location in the former Foodland building in downtown Kincardine. Everyone on the wait-list will be given the opportunity to join at the new location.

Interested parents are invited to attend an open house, Sept. 6 and 7, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the new location at 315 Durham Market North, across from Victoria Park.

“We're really excited to be offering this in the community,” say Little Beginnings supervisor Julie Lafond and owners Kristy and Sebastien Garneau. “It's the perfect start to a child's day with a nutritious homemade breakfast and a safe outdoor play space. And we believe it's a valuable peace-of-mind service for busy working parents.”

Registration can be done at the open house, by E-mail at julie@littlebeginnings.ca, by calling 519-396-1230 or by visiting the current location at 911 Queen Street, Kincardine.
