Kincardine native Fred Morgan dies at the age of 76

John Frederick "Fred" Morgan of Ingersoll, originally of Kincardine, died Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, at Sakura House in Woodstock. He was 76.
 
Beloved husband of Gail; father of Connie (Jim) and Rob (Tina); grandpa of Matthew, Jonathan (Hannah-Mae) and Dustin; and great-grandpa of Iyla-Mae. 

He will be missed by his sisters, Betty-Jeanne (Ron) Catto and Linda (Don) Merritt; sisters-in-law, Ruth Anne Robinson and Rosemary Douglas (Charlie); and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

The family knows that Fred will be especially missed by his long-time fishing buddy, Dave. 

He was predeceased by his father, Albert Franklin Morgan; mother, Hannah Elizabeth (Bessie) Wright Morgan; and brothers, Bill and Tom.
 
A Legion service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017, at the Beachville Legion at 6:30 p.m., followed by time to share with the family. 

Interment, will be at the Kincardine Cemetery, Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017, at 11 am., followed by a reception at the Kincardine Legion.
 
Fred requested that memorial donations be made to Sakura House in Woodstock, the Beachville Legion or a charity of your choice. Donations can be made through McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll, Ontario, (519-425-1600).
 
The family wishes to thank the St. Elizabeth staff members for their months of care and the staff at Sakura House for caring for all of us during Fred's last couple of weeks.
