Saturday morning brought typical rainy weather for the Tiverton Fall Fair.
However, by noon, the rain had quit and the sun shone for the parade, led by the fire truck, through downtown Tiverton to the fairgrounds.
Joining in the parade, were Tiverton Fall Fair ambassador Kady Rice, and Prince and Princess, Caleb Martin and Harlow Stevenson, as well as Kincardine ambassador Priya Kalra and junior ambassador Heidi Allen, Lucknow ambassador Emily Pennington and junior ambassador Madison Ritchie, and Kincardine mayor Anne Eadie.
Also featured in the parade, were the Teeswater Highlanders Pipe Band, and the Kincardine Sparks, Brownies and Guides, as well as various business and organizational floats, decorated bikes and four-wheelers, clowns, the Bruce Shriners, the Canada 150 Convay Family Float, the Super Heroes Craig Family Float, and much more.
The rain held off for the rest of Saturday and Sunday, as the Tiverton Fair enjoyed the best weather in several years. Stay tuned for more coverage of the fair in the Kincardine Record.
