Great crowd turns out for annual Kountry Kitchen bazaar

By: Liz Dadson
October 10, 2017

It was a rainy Saturday morning, as people lined up waiting for the doors to open on the ever-popular Kountry Kitchen bazaar at Pine River United Church.

Once it opened, the bazaar was awash in a sea of customers, racing to purchase their favourite pie, cake, cookies, candy, preserves, Christmas cake, Christmas pudding, and frozen beef pies, as well as the beautiful pumpkin floral arrangements, decorated pumpkins, crafts and quilts.

Patrons were also invited to enjoy their lunch at the Heavenly Cafe upstairs.

The event is organized by the Pine River United Church Women, and has been held on the Thanksgiving weekend for almost 40 years.
