Crowd scoops up goodies at annual Tiverton Cookie Walk

By: Liz Dadson
December 6, 2017

It was an excited, if controlled, crowd that hurried into the basement of Knox Presbyterian Church, Tiverton, Saturday morning, to fill containers full of cookies, square and treats, at the annual Cookie Walk.

There was a delightful variety of goodies, including cute little meringue snowmen, almond bark, and delectable marshmallow squares, as well as tarts and brownies.

Volunteers were kept busy, refilling trays as fast as they were being cleared, while people selected from a tremendous array of home-baked goodies.

The event is a popular annual fund-raiser for the church.
