South Bruce OPP report drug charges laid; and man arrested at break-in

(BRUCE TWP, ON) - Feb. 8, members of the OPP Community Street Crimes Unit Grey-Bruce, West Region OPP Emergency Response Team, West Region OPP Canine Unit and South Bruce OPP officers executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a property in the 3900 block of Highway 21 in Bruce Township.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant, police seized methamphetamine. The estimated value of the seized controlled substance is $2,770. 
Police also seized offence-related property that consisted of trafficking paraphernalia, cash and a vacuum sealer. The value of the seized property is estimated to be worth more than $8,400.
49-year-old Jamie CAMPBELL of Bruce Township was charged with possess a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. He was held in custody pending the result of a bail hearing.
32-year-old Kody KANE of Stratford was charged with possess a controlled substance and fail to comply with probation. He was held in custody pending the result of a bail hearing.
32-year-old Katelyn KOURY of Brockton was charged with possess a controlled substance. She is scheduled to appear in court March 14, to answer to the charge.


(KINCARDINE TWP, ON) - Feb. 9, at 10:08 a.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a break-in at a residence in the 600 block of the Northline in Kincardine Township. 

Officers arrived and located a man on the property; he was arrested without incident. 56-year-old Russell BURLEY of Guelph was charged with three counts of break and enter. He was held in custody pending the results of a bail hearing Feb. 10.
