Mary Rose Norman (née Caza) of Kincardine, died Sunday, July 7, 2024, at the age of 77. Beloved wife of the late David Norman (2023). Proud mother of Shelley Norman (Corey Parker) of Kincardine, and Linette Jackman (Mark) of Toronto. She is survived by her sister, Edna Caza of Thamesville; and her brothers, Remi Caza of Thamesville and Archie Caza (Annette) of Bothwell. Predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Margurite Caza; sisters, Julia, Gertrude and Gilberta; and brothers, Jules and Luke. Mary lived in the city for years before meeting and marrying David. She said she was so happy to have found her farmer and get to spend the rest of her life with him on the farm. She helped with the animals, fixing machinery, doing hay, planting crops, whatever was needed. She loved flowers and she designed and planted an amazing flower garden complete with themed areas and crushed brick paths and seating. She was also an amazing cook and baker, with a gift for cake-decorating. But most of all, she loved her family, and nothing made her happier than spending time with us. In later years, she enjoyed travelling with David, especially going on cruises. They continued to live on, and help with, the farm after retiring, and she loved helping with her daughter’s home child care. She found peace in prayer and spent hours every day saying the rosary and partaking in other religious activities. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Kincardine, Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 1 p.m. Interment, Kincardine Cemetery. Memorial donations to Huron Shores Hospice in her memory, would be very much appreciated; arrangements entrusted to the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine; www.daveylinklaterfuneralhome.com. Mom, you were very much loved and will be so very much missed. Thank you for everything. |
