Alice Lula Castle died peacefully at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Harvey and Martha Lootsma, Kincardine, Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021. She was 100. Alice was born in Cornwall, Ontario, July 10, 1920. Predeceased by her husband, Stan Castle; her son, Timothy; and sons-in-law, Bill Forrest and Randy Jolliffe. Lovingly remembered by her children, Marilyn Forrest of Kingston, Bob and Lynn Castle of Brockville, Susan and Harry Kleinhuis of Parry Sound, Brenda and Ken Bartlett of Elginburg, Harry and Marg Castle of Chesterville, Ted and Irene Castle of Cornwall, Philip and Gwen Castle of Kemptville, Lorraine Castle of Red Lake, and Martha and Harvey Lootsma of Kincardine, Ontario. Alice was the loving grandmother of 27 grandchildren, 72 great grandchildren, and eight great, great-grandchildren. “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” (John 14:1-3) |
