​Sharon MacDonald wins “A” Flight in ladies’ league at Ainsdale Golf Course

Sharon MacDonald won “A” Flight in the ladies’ league, Tuesday (Aug. 6), at Ainsdale Golf Course, with a net score of 33.

In second, was Karen Smith, with 34; and in third, was Sandy Petter, with 35. Skins winners, were Jessica Catto, Wendy McDonald, and Smith.

"B” Flight: Angela Thompkins, 35; and tied for second, Cathy Alcombrack, Anne Kukurudza, Anne Burton, Dawn Wiseman, Danielle LaCroix and Shawna Small, 36. Skins winners, were Small, Alcombrack, Brenda Ackert and Cheryl Moore.

“C” Flight: Nancy Turcotte, 33; Helen Marsh, 34; and Erin Alexander, 37. Skins winners, were Pam Kinjerski, Alexander, and Marsh.

“D” Flight: Deborah Brindley, 31; and tied for second, Val Taves, Kim Vanstone and Diane Small, 32. Skins winners, were Julie Jeffries and Wendy Swann.

The weather started out weird but turned nice, with 72 ladies attending.

Thanks to our sponsor, Derek Regier of Re/Max, with draw prizes won by Sharon McKay, Wendy Swann, Leslie Waites, Carole Stallworthy and Holly Gauthier. The 50-50 winner was Chris McBride, $36.

The Ladies’ Club Championship will be held Aug. 24-25 - open to members of Ainsdale Golf Course only.
