​Chris Lee wins “A” Flight at men’s night at Ainsdale Golf Course

Chris Lee took top spot in “A” Flight in the men’s league, Thursday (Aug. 8), at Ainsdale Golf Course, with a net score of 33.

In second, was Tyler Royle, with 33; and tied for third, were Brent Jolley, Chad Carruthers and Josh Gauthier, 34. Skins winner, was Gordon Yoon.

“B” Flight – Tied for first, Dave Robinson, Dave Brubaker, Jordan St. Amand, Dwight Irwin and Rob Fitzsimmons, 34. Skins winners, were Robinson and Brandon Pyper.

“C” Flight – Josh Leonard, 30; Evan Graham, 31; Mike Fair, 33; and tied for fourth, Frank Merkt, Brent Eden, and David Berger, 34. Skins winners, were Evan Graham, Art Jolley, Leonard, Brock Lowry and Ron Zawacki.

“D” Flight – Dennis Dewar, 27; Nigel Ford, 30; Lari Dakin, 31; and Robert Crawford, 32. Skins winners, were Les Banat, Bob Bradley, and Dewar.

There were 151 guys in attendance. The 50-50 winner was Murray Woodman, $75.50.

The Men’s Club Championship will be held Aug. 24-25. Senior Men’s Club Championship will be held Aug. 10-11. Ages 55-plus are eligible to play in the Senior Men’s Club Championship; must be a member of Ainsdale Golf Course to participate.

The Men’s Closing Scramble will be Sunday, Sept. 15. This is a four-man scramble, with “A,” “B,” “C,” and “D” Flight player per team. We will have team betting, once again, and a meal and prizes.
