​April Catto takes “A” Flight in ladies’ league at Ainsdale Golf Course

April Catto won “A” Flight in the ladies’ league, Tuesday (Aug. 20), at Ainsdale Golf Course, with a net score of 34.

Tied for second, were Diane Sutter, Maureen Peet, Debby Antler and Cheryl Moore, with 35. Skins winners, were Tracy Neitzel, Peet, Catto, Barb Grubb and Sutter.

"B” Flight: Lindsey Gossell, 33; tied for second, Shawna Small and Cathy Alcombrack, 35. Skins winner, was Alcombrack.

“C” Flight: Tied for first, Pam Kinjerski, Meg Hetherington and Melanie Starr, 36. Skins winners, were Hetherington and Pat Emmerton.

"D” Flight: Connie Morrison, 32; Melanie Merkt, 33; Gail MacIntosh, 35. Skins winners, were Helga Urie, Deborah Brindley, Diane Small and Lindsay Desmond.

There were 79 ladies on hand for a round of golf. The 50-50 winner was Gail MacIntosh, $39.50.

The Ladies’ Club Championship will be held Aug. 24-25 - open to members of Ainsdale Golf Course only.

The Ladies’ Closing Scramble and Banquet will be held Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 5:30 p.m. Shotgun start for golf, with prime rib meal to follow.
