Kincardine teams win finals in Grey Bruce Minor Curling League
The inaugural season of the Grey Bruce Minor Curling League saw thrilling playoffs, Sunday, in Owen Sound.

This season, 18 teams of kids improved their skills at five different Grand Slam events at Grey-Bruce Clubs. There were cheers, tears and yells of joy and frustration.

In the end, the “A” Division champion was Team Hunter of Kincardine over regular-season, first-seed Team Quibell of Port Elgin.

In the “B” Division finals, Team Court of Kincardine won over regular-season, first-seed Team Fee of Chesley.

It was a great day for Kincardine but this season has been dominated by a dozen teams all trading wins.

Many of the local kids are moving on to play the U12 Provincials in Palmerston, April 3-6.

The Grey Bruce Minor League is looking for a headline sponsor which would include naming rights. Contact; PeteNewtonPodcast@gmail.com.
