Carole Ann MacDonald, Dawn Fincher tie for top spot in “A” Flight in ladies’ league at Ainsdale

Carole Ann MacDonald and Dawn Fincher tied for top spot in “A” Flight at the opening day of the ladies’ league, Tuesday (May 6), at Ainsdale Golf Course, with a net score of 38.

Third place was a six-way tie, among Barb Grubb, Antoinetta MacDonald, Kelly MacNeill, April Catto, Cindy Schmidt and Nancy Stewart, with 39. Skins winners, were Sandy Petter and Catto.

"B” Flight: Four-way tie for first, Cheryl Moore, Kim Catto, Lori Belanger and Cathy Alcombrack, 35. Skins winners, were Sheila Cousins and Moore.

“C” Flight: Kim Reid, 29; Brenda Ackert, 33; Deb Hunter, 35. Skins winners, were Wendy Gardner, Ackert, Ruth Johnston, Reid, and Erin Alexander.

“D” Flight: Kelly Lichtenberg, 28; Judy Watt, 32; Deb Bodkin, 36. Skins winners, were Lichtenberg, Diane Small, Taylor Campbell, Leslie Waites and Kim Vanstone.

Thanks to everyone who attended the opening ladies’ day of the season. It was a bit of a weird weather day but the 74 ladies gave their best effort. The 50-50 winner was Judy Gordon, $37.
