Snowmobiler dies after collision in Arran-Elderslie Township

(ARRAN-ELDERSLIE TWP, ON) - A 56-year-old man has died, following a collision involving a vehicle and a snowmobile.

Thursday, Feb. 5, at approximately 10:20 p.m., members of the South Bruce OPP responded to the collision on Bruce County Road 11 in Arran-Elderslie Township.

The driver of the snowmobile was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Bruce County Road 11, between Sideroad 20 and Sideroad 25, in Arran-Elderslie Township, is currently closed for investigation, with assistance from the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement, Technical Collision Investigation and Reconstruction teams.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident, is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
