Predeceased by her parents, James and Clara MacTavish; her siblings, Allan MacTavish, Evelyn Walden, Marion Lowry and Jim MacTavish; and her brother-in-law, Perrin Lowry. Peg was born and raised in Huron Township. She was always very active, and loved to go for walks where she met and made many new friends. She loved gardening and working in her many flower beds. She will be missed by the Thuell family and all those whose lives she touched. Last year for Christmas, she insisted on cooking the turkey because, according to her, “It might be my last chance to do it.” The funeral will be held at the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home, Ripley, Friday, Dec. 8, 2023, at 2 p.m., with visitation two hours prior, from Noon to 2 p.m. Final resting place, Ripley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family. Condolences on-line at www.mackenzieandmccreath.com. |
