Wilda Doreen Fraser (nee MacLeod) entered into the glory of the Lord, Monday, Dec. 11, 2023, at the Maison McCulloch Hospice, Sudbury. Beloved wife of Rev. Arn Fraser (predeceased). Loving mother of Andy (Kathy) of Kincardine, Scott (Laurie – predeceased) of Sudbury, and Bruce (Joanne) of Oakville. Cherished grandmother of Jillian (Paul), Alex (Beth), Liana (Rob), Tim (Tanya), Mike (Katryna), Mark (Danielle), and Michelle (Nate). Dearest great-grandmother of Graysen, Aiden, Brooklyn, Evelyn, Emmerson, Lauryn, Wren, Jack, Madelyn and Isla. Predeceased by her sisters, Helen and Joyce. Special thanks to Wilda's long-time caregiver, Veronica. Having trained as a nurse in Hamilton, Wilda had a dedicated career, nursing with deep compassion and great skill for more than four decades. Visitation will be held Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023, at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury, from 7-9 p.m., and Friday, Dec. 15, 2023, from Noon to 1:45 p.m., with the funeral to follow at 2 p.m., with Rev. Dan Reeves officiating. A reception will be held immediately following the service.
