Dear mother of Dennis Neil Munro of RR 2, Tiverton; and Cheryl Ann Casey of London. Loved grandmother of Patrick. Verna told reporters on her 100th birthday, and every birthday since, that  being raised a farm girl, as well as hard work and clean living, are what she credited for having enjoyed such a long and happy life. She lived in Tiverton for many years, and moved to Tiverton Park Manor in August, 2007, where she enjoyed playing euchre every Thursday and whenever she could get a group together. She also liked doing word-search puzzles. Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., where the funeral will be held Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, at 2 p.m., with Rev. David Chang of Knox Presbyterian Church, Tiverton, officiating. Spring interment, Tiverton Cemetery.
