MARYANN VAUGHAN FORSTER (nee MacLEAN)

Maryann Vaughan Forster, beloved wife of Bob Forster of Lurgan Beach, died peacefully at the Walkerton Hospital, Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024. She was 74. Born May 3, 1949, in Houston, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy (Moon) and James B. MacLean. Greatly missed by her sons, Allan Forster (Leia King) and John Forster; and grandchildren, Madison, Luke, Joe and Lorelei. Also survived by special cousins, Judy Moon, Patty Smart-Abbey and Rick Howarth (Cathy Heinrich). Predeceased by here sister, Lynda Jean MacLean. She will be missed greatly by all of her many relatives and friends. Maryann enjoyed spending time boating on the Trent Severn Waterway, hosting neighbours and friends where she would whip up some fabulous meals (many times without notice) at home, and playing the piano which she did very well. But above all else, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Following Maryann’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
