WARREN ARNOLD KELLS

Warren Arnold Kells, 72, of Tiverton, died peacefully, Feb. 22, 2024, at Kincardine Hospital. Born Sept. 13, 1951, in Kitchener, he was the son of Arnold and Ethel (Powell). Warren is survived by his beloved wife, Maureen (Carter); and adoring children and grandchildren, Matt, Mike, Kate (Leggat), Brennan, and Everett. Staff-sergeant Warren Kells was a veteran of the City of Waterloo Police, Waterloo Regional Police, and the OPP. An original member of the Waterloo Regional Police, he served with distinction for 30 years. Following his final retirement, he devoted much of his time and energy to breeding Clydesdale horses, earning honours across North America and the United Kingdom. Warren dedicated his life to the service of his family, his horses, his community, his province, and his country. He will be dearly missed and remembered. The family expresses sincere gratitude to the nurses and caregivers at the Kincardine Hospital for their kindness and support. Donations to the Ontario Police Memorial Foundation, or the Canadian Cancer Society are appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
