William “Bill” Douglas Currie of Kincardine, died at Huron Shores Hospice, Tiverton, Friday, May 24, 2024, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Myrna Currie (McDougall) for 51 years. Proud and loving father of Amy Sauve (Ryan) and Meghan Currie. Missed by his brother, Ron Currie (Judy) of Cobourg; and in-laws, Gordon McDougall (Bonny) of Arthur, and Carol Campbell, of Pembroke. Fondly remembered by nine nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends. Predeceased by his parents, George and Christina (Foster) Currie; in-laws, Clifford and Helen McDougall; sister, Joan Couper; brothers-in-law, John Couper and Wayne Campbell; and sister in law Bonnie McDougall. A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at the Inverlyn Estates Clubhouse, Kincardine, Friday, June 7, 2024, from 1-4 p.m., with remembrances shared at 3 p.m. Final resting place, the Kincardine Columbarium.
