MARSHA PAULINE LEGGETT (nee MacINTOSH)

Marsha Pauline Leggett (nee MacIntosh), former reeve of Tiverton and councillor for the Municipality of Kincardine, died peacefully, with her family by her side, Monday, May 27, 2024, at Huron Shores Hospice, Tiverton, in her 80th year. Beloved wife of LeRoy Leggett. Loving mother of Jennifer and Jim Capeling, Kimberley and Ray Buttineau, and Michael and Brooke Leggett. Proud Grandma of Rebecca, Hannah, Olivia, Paulina, Noah, Sam, Ben and Katie Rae; and Great-Grandmother of Santiago, Georgia and Phoebe. Survived by her three sisters, Judy Randle of Ajax, Beth Harrison of Owen Sound and Kip Barber of Owen Sound. LeRoy and Marsha owned Leggett’s Sunoco in Tiverton until the garage was sold in the late 1980s. She was a councillor for Tiverton and Kincardine Township through the years and was also elected the reeve of Tiverton in 1979, which was the Centennial Anniversary of the village. She enjoyed her time serving on council and always was concerned with the goings-on in the community.
