Burton George Eskrick of Kincardine Township, died peacefully, surrounded by family, at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth “Betty” Eskrick (née Campbell) who predeceased him in 2016. Dear father of Bruce Eskrick of Kincardine Township, Barb Eskrick of Walkerton, and Bonnie Kell (Stephen) of Innisfil. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, William (Katelyn) Kell and Emma Kell. Fondly remembered by his brother, Ken (Lynda) Eskrick; sister, Carolyn Hodgins; and in-laws, Doug Letson, Christina Moulton and Ruth (Richard) Siegell and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Nelson and Alma (née Reid) Eskrick; sisters, Betty (Harvey) Needham and Dorothy Letson; brothers, Lloyd (Gail) Eskrick and Dale Eskrick; three infant siblings; and in-laws, Jean (Nute) Catto, Agnes MacKinnon (George), John Campbell, Margaret (Otto) Weber, Isabel (Ken) Brindley, Helen (Jim) Shaw, Cecelia (Jack) Kidd and Wray Moulton. Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m., with Rev. Rick Warne officiating. Spring interment, Tiverton Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation, Knox Presbyterian Church in Tiverton, or the Canadian Foodgrains Bank, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
