ALBERDINA "DIANNE" STAM

January 23, 2025

Alberdina “Dianne” Stam, formerly of Kincardine, died peacefully, Thursday, Jan. 23, 2025, at Guelph General Hospital. She was 74. Dianne leaves behind her daughters, Gina and Gabriela Stam; grandchildren, Destinee Shepherd, Daija, Devin and Delilah Stam-Haldenby; and great-grandson, Cooper Ebben-Haldenby. Remembered by her siblings, Lenny Stam (Karen), Harry Stam (Gerry), and Rick Stam. Aunt “Dini” to Kerry, Jamie, Leanne, Julie, Timothy, Becky, Michael, Samuel, Jennelle, Kayleena, Nathanael, Aaron, Jessica, Matthew, Christopher, Justin and Micah. Remembered by Debbie Stam. Predeceased by her parents, William and Maria Stam; and niece, Melissa Stam. Dianne was born and raised on a farm outside of Kincardine. As so many do, she left the country and headed to the city to make her own way. She was a life-long learner, graduating top of her class in nursing and veterinary technician. This beautiful woman, of strong faith and unwavering love for her family, struggled and lived with mental illness - a disease that can affect anyone. Even with struggles of her own, she reached out to help those less fortunate than herself. Dianne will be remembered by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place. Private family service. If so desired, memorial donations in Dianne’s memory to the Guelph Humane Society, Drop-in at The Bridge in Kincardine, the Kincardine Food Bank or Hope House Guelph, would be appreciated by her family.
