Roy Levi Fitzgerald, formerly of Kincardine, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025, at the Southbridge Nursing Home in Owen Sound, at the age of 78. Predeceased by his father, William Fitzgerald; his mother, Maretta (nee Vines) Fitzgerald; his brother, William (Ed) Fitzgerald; and his sister, Helen Rempel. Proud uncle of Brian Hoggard (Steff) and his children, Bryce and Ashawnee; Maretta Courvoisier (Ron) and her children, Terrell and Vanita, and her children, Ainslee, Finn and Zara. Roy loved to raise Homer Pigeons and go fishing, until he moved into the nursing home. A double graveside service will be held at a later date, when Roy and his late sister, Helen, can be laid to rest with their mother, come the spring, at the Kincardine Cemetery.
