David Joseph Leddy of Owen Sound, formerly of Kincardine, died Feb. 4, 2025, in his 52nd year. He was born May 21, 1973. Beloved and dear son of Sandra Stewart. Proud father of Connor Joseph King Leddy. Loving brother of Michelle Kahgee and favourite uncle of Kadin Kahgee. David will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his father, Danny Leddy; grandparents, Raymond and Gertrude Leddy and Duncan and Kathleen Stewart. David was known for his great sense of humour, caring heart and his innovative and intellectual mind. As a young boy, he was comical, daring, and adventurous. He enjoyed spending time in nature, was an avid reader and loved cooking and baking. David was quick-witted, a conversationalist, and always had a joke in his back pocket. He would light up a room and always wanted to put a smile on people's faces. He was dearly loved by us and will be so greatly missed. A celebration of David’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 340, Port Elgin (630 Green Street), Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 1-4 p.m. Final resting place, Kincardine Cemetery.
