Anne (Bonnie) Ritchie, formerly of Kincardine, died peacefully, at Rockwood Terrace in Durham, Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Leonard (deceased). Mother of Gordon, Paul (deceased) and Kevin; mother-in-law of Dana; and Nana of Lukas. Sister of her twin brother, Bruce (deceased). Lovingly remembered by her wide circle of friends, relatives, and her tennis and golf buddies in Burlington, Kincardine, and Destin, Florida. Special thanks to Beverly Spence, Barb and Tom Reid and Linda Snyder and the many friends and relatives for their friendship, love, and support to Bonnie. Bonnie was born and raised in Hamilton where she loved to play softball, dance and play the piano. She became an avid tennis and golf player once the kids were independent. She was a keen volunteer for several organizations, including the Lions Club, and created the first widows group in Kincardine. Sincere thanks to the caregivers at Harbour Hills in Goderich and Rockwood Terrace in Durham. A service to celebrate Bonnie's life will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, 757 Princes Street, Kincardine, Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the “Littles”: brucehuron.bigbrothersbigsisters.ca/donate/. Bonnie had a special place in her heart for the “Littles” who played golf at Ainsdale Golf Course.
