BARBARA ANN BURROWS (nee CAMPBELL)

Barbara Ann Burrows (nee Campbell) of Kincardine died Monday, May 5, 2025, at Huron Shores Hospice, Tiverton, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 85. Survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Ronald Burrows; and their four sons, Daniel (Pam), Dennis (Donna), Derrick (Karen) and Michael (Julie). Greatly missed by her grandchildren, Dale, Jeff, Shawn, Andrew, Jason, Amy, Danielle, Kelsey, Ashlea, Corey, Tre, and Devon; and great-grandchildren, Alecsys, Henry, Oliver, Logan, Illyanna, Selena, Eliah, Coen, Isabel, and Aubree. Beloved sister of Helen, Susan, Rodger, and Robin. Barbara was born in Kincardine, July 12, 1939, daughter of Arthur and Mary Campbell. She and Ronald married young and settled in Oakville where they began raising their family. They returned to their hometown of Kincardine to operate Burrows Sports and then Presto-Crest. She was a hard-working partner in the successful operation of these businesses. Barbara enjoyed travelling, golf, politics, and having coffee with friends and family. She was known for her strong will and the love and support for her family. She was a big supporter of her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting activities, attending many of their events over the years. Predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Mary (nee Pettigrew) Campbell; and her brother, Arthur Jr. Special thanks to all the caregivers and volunteers at Huron Shores Hospice and Dr. Damian Gunaratne and his team. Friends and relatives are invited to a memorial visitation, Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 7-9 p.m., at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine. The funeral will be held Friday, May 16, 2025, at 11 a.m., at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, with Rev. Richard Warne officiating. Reception to follow.
