Bonnie Lynn Stark (nee Mackay) of Kincardine died peacefully, Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Huron Shores Hospice, Tiverton, in her 75th year. Beloved wife of Frank; and mother of Kelly (Ken) Thomson of Kincardine, Shannon (Jadon) Nakrieko of Cayley, Alberta, and Megan (Rob) Fry of Ripley. Cherished grandmother of Mackenzie, Madelyn, Kye, Brynn, Mavis, Holden, Cole, and Callie. Missed by her siblings, Arthur (Barb) Mackay of Russell, Debby Mackay of Ottawa, Jill Mackay of Shawville, Quebec, and Jennifer (Greg) Spratt of Ottawa; as well as many nieces and nephews. Bonnie was a bright light with a kind, loving heart, who touched many lives. She was a cherished wife, sister, mother and grandmother, known for loving family time at the cottage, playing games, visiting, singing, dancing and travelling the world. She always enjoyed visiting with special friends over a cup of tea and sweets. Teaching was a passion of hers, as was being a member of the Kincardine Community Singers and the Kincardine Hospital Auxiliary. Her strong faith in God led her to a life full of kindness, gratitude, grace and love. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Predeceased by her brother, Steven; and parents, Arthur and Betty (nee Sharpe) Mackay. Visitation will be held Friday, May 16, 2025, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 11 a.m., at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Kincardine, with Rev. Dr. Thomas Manninezhath officiating. Celebration of Life to follow from 1-3 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 183, Kincardine.
