KENNETH ROBERT SCOTT

May 17, 2025

Kenneth Robert Scott of Kincardine died peacefully, surrounded by his family, Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, in his 82nd year. Born Aug. 3, 1943, he was the only son of Robert Scott and Christena Scott (nee Smith). Predeceased by his parents; and his cherished wife, Linda Scott (nee Riley), in November of 2023. They were married Dec. 30, 1977. Loving stepfather of Alvin Storey and his wife, Lisa (nee Grigg) of Kincardine. Deeply missed by his granddaughters, Rebecca (Derek) Kilbertus of Port Elgin, and Brooke Storey and Marlise Storey (Zack Payne), both of Kincardine. Remembered by many cousins, extended family, neighbours, and life-long friends of Kincardine Township. Ken was a dedicated member of Knox Presbyterian Church in Tiverton, and a proud member of the Tiverton Agricultural Society. A skilled and accomplished master electrician and plumber, he dedicated many years to his craft. He was known for his hard work, integrity, and kindness, and many people would count on Ken to help them out, using his quiet smarts to solve many plumbing and electrical issues, as well as innovation and alternative solutions. When he wasn't working hard for others, he was busy farming. He had a deep love for farming and cherished living on the 9th Concession of Kincardine where he worked and lived all his life - a community that brought him great joy, fulfillment, and many friendships. In the past two years, he lived at Tiverton Park Manor, and at Trillium Court Seniors’ Community in Kincardine.
