FRANCINE MARIE BLANCHE GAGNE (nee RODRIGUE)

Francine Marie Blanche Gagne (nee Rodrigue) of Tiverton died peacefully, surrounded by love, Monday, July 14, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 70. Francine’s presence in our lives was a gift, and her absence will be deeply felt. We will carry her memory with us always. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Michelle O’Hagan (Dave), and her son, Marc Gagne (Susan). Nothing brought her more joy than her four grandchildren whom she adored beyond words, Ashley (Everett), Emma, Lauren, and Nicolas. Predeceased by her loving husband, Nelson Gagne; and her dear parents, Laurent and Berthe Rodrigue. Fondly remembered by her siblings, Denis Rodrigue (Carole), Jean-Guy Rodrigue (Lorraine), Yvan Rodrigue (Diane), and Michel Rodrigue (Julie); and her nieces and nephews, Steve, Melanie, Eric, Jason, and Natalie. Also fondly remembered by the many family members from the Gagne family. Born July 2, 1955, Francine grew up in Kapuskasing, Ontario, where she made countless cherished memories with her four brothers and many cousins and friends. The family extends a heartfelt thanks to the Grey Bruce Hospice in Owen Sound for the compassionate care and support during Francine’s final days. The kindness brought comfort during an incredibly difficult time. As per Francine’s wishes, a private immediate family celebration of life will take place in July.
