WILLIAM "BILL" CALVERT MOOREHOUSE

William "Bill" Calvert Moorehouse of Trillium Court Seniors’ Community, Kincardine, died peacefully, surrounded by his family, Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, in his 94th year. He is now reunited with his cherished wife, Dorothea “Dee” Moorehouse, and other loved ones who have gone before him. Bill was the devoted and loving father of Kevin (Marg), Debbie Mitchell, Karen (Derrick) Burrows, and Scott (Katharine). He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren, Joel (Donna) Mitchell, Kyle (Karen) Mitchell, Deanna (Matt) Wilsack, Tim (Corrine) Mitchell, William Moorehouse, Courtney (Blake) Moorehouse, Shawn Burrows, Amy (Tyler) Morlock, Andrew (Michelle) Moorehouse, and Sarah (Steve) Paciuc; and by his 13 great-grandchildren, all of whom he adored. Predeceased by his wife, Dorothea; son-in-law, Bob Mitchell; parents, Bill and Isabelle (nee Scott) Moorehouse; and brother, Edward Moorehouse. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, and Trillium Court, Kincardine, for their care and kindness. Visitation will be held Monday, Nov. 3, 2025, at 10 a.m., at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, followed by the memorial service at 11 a.m., also at the funeral home. Interment, Kincardine Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
