James Robert Mitchel (Jim) Edwards of Kincardine died suddenly, Nov. 24, 2025, at the age of 68. Survived by his daughter, Melissa Brock (nee Edwards); son-in-law, Lyle Brock; and his pride and joy, his grandchildren, Amber Brock (Owen) and James Brock (Hannah). Also survived by his siblings, Glen, (Darlene), Lorne, Julie, Dale, Rory, Randy, and Sandy Morin (Michel)l and many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his wife, Louise Lafreniere; her daughters, Lori (Mark) and Pam (Tom); and her granddaughter, Claire; as well as her siblings, Micheline, Suzette, Joanne and Carol. Predeceased by his wife, Marie Edwards (nee Billings); and daughter. Jim was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and loved a good chat. He will be missed by many friends and neighbours. Burial and Celebration of Life will be in Chapleau, and the time and date will be announced later.
