Darrin Randall Grubb of Pine River died suddenly, Dec. 6, 2025, at the age of 59. Survived by his siblings, Barbara Grubb, Glenn Grubb and wife Marjorie (Derry), and Marvin Grubb. Darrin will be greatly missed by his niece, Emily Grubb, and her partner, Ben Paulsen; as well as his nephew, Adam Grubb, and his wife, Alexandria (DaCosta Webster). Predeceased by his mother, Helen Grubb, and father, Ralph Grubb, of Ripley. Darrin was key to the success of Marvin’s Automotive for more than 35 years where he handled scheduling, ordering, bookkeeping and repairs, alongside his brother, Marvin. An avid fan of NASCAR, a drag-car racer, and fan of all things auto, he also had a talent for knocking the ball down the middle of the fairway no matter how long it was between rounds. A Celebration of Life will be held Jan. 24, 2026, from 2- 4 p.m., at Ainsdale Golf Course. Private burial will take place at the Ripley Cemetery.
