Evan Lloyd Agnew of London, died at Kensington Village, Sunday, Jan. 18, 2026, at the age of 84. Born Jan. 18, 1942, in Wingham, he was the son of the late Ada (MacKay) and Clair Agnew. Greatly missed by his nieces and nephew, Julianne (Stephen) McConnell of Hanover, David (Sue) Hall of Gananoque and Sherry (Paul) Spackman of Stratford. Also survived by five great-nieces and -nephews, eight great-great-nieces and -nephews; and godson, Aaron Reimer. Will forever be missed by Carol Ford, Doug and Lois Mantle, Nazzali J. Ramz, Rev. Kendall Reimer-Johnston, David Weingarten and Chad Tucker, along with several other friends. Predeceased by his sister, Katherine (Jim) Hall; and brother, Donald (Marilyn) Agnew. Evan worked at the CN Police and St. John Ambulance before moving to Halifax where he worked at the Children’s Hospital as a security guard. When he returned to London, he worked as a security guard at Huron College. Following Evan’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held Feb. 7, 2026, at St. George’s Anglican Church (227 Wharncliffe Road North, London). Spring interment, Greenhill Cemetery, Lucknow.
