Ralph Winfield Marshall of Lucknow, formerly of Nile, a devoted father, hard-working tradesman and cherished member of his community, died March 31, 2026, at the age of 77. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Sandra, and his son, Chris. He leaves behind his son, Stuart, and stepdaughter, Lorena, who will carry forward his memory with love and pride. Ralph dedicated much of his life to his work as an electrician, spending more than 20 years with JMR in Exeter where he was respected for his skill, reliability, and strong work ethic. Earlier in his career, he worked at the Caledon Ski Club as a compressor engineer, helping maintain the snow-making systems that brought winter to life for so many. Outside of his work, Ralph found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was a loyal fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Maple Leafs, rarely missing a game. In his later years, he enjoyed spending time at bingo halls, bowling alleys, and local produce auctions. He also found meaningful connection and purpose helping within the Amish community where his willingness to lend a hand and his practical skills were deeply appreciated. Ralph will be remembered for his steady presence, his dedication to his family, and his quiet generosity toward others. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the values he instilled. A celebration of life will be held at the St. Helens Community Centre, Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 12-4 p.m. Family and friends are invited to attend and share memories of Ralph.
