Marjorie Alexia Campbell (née McLeod) of Kincardine, died at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015. She was 93. Beloved wife of the late Clarence Campbell and Clifford McKay. Dear mother of Harvey (Beth) McKay of RR 5, Kincardine; Lillian (John) Crowe of Blair's Grove, Kincardine; Aileen McKay of Kincardine; Rodney (Sharon) McKay of RR 5, Kincardine; Dorne (Ruth) McKay of Kincardine; and Donald McKay of Newcastle. Loved step-mother of Bert (Jo-Anne) Campbell of London, Beth Campbell of Barrie, the late Bruce Campbell and the late Margaret Smith. Survived by her step-son-in-law, Ron Smith of London; and step-daughter-in-law, Margaret Campbell of London. Cherished grandmother of 25 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. Survived by her brother-in-law, Junior (Angus) and Audrey McKay of Kincardine; and her sister-in-law, Mildred Bonnett of Kincardine. Marjorie was born March 24, 1922, on the 9th Concession of Kincardine, to parents Eleanor (née Avery) and Rod McLeod. In 1942, she married Clifford McKay, and they farmed on Highway 21 near Tiverton for 43 years. To this union was born six children. In 1985, Clifford died. In 1988, Marjorie married Clarence Campbell, and they resided at Forbes Lambton Court apartments in Kincardine. By this union, Marjorie was given four wonderful step-children. Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015, from Noon to 1:30 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., with Pastor Kenneth Craig officiating. Interment, Tiverton Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
