Dora Margaret Alton (Ballagh) formerly of RR 2, Lucknow, died at Huronlea Home for the Aged, Brussels, Sept. 24, 2018, at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Blake Alton, who predeceased her in 1978. Dora was born in Culross Township, Sept. 7, 1922, daughter of the late Eva Wallace and Arthur Ballagh. She will be missed by her children, Stuart and Donna of RR2, Lucknow, Mary Ann and Sandy Lemm of Toronto, Steve and Sonja of RR 2, Lucknow, and son-by-choice, Bob and Bev Harris of Goderich. Dear grandma of Blake, Joel, Brooklyn, Eric, Trevor, Cam, Brent and Grant. Proud great-grandma of Hudson and Eve. Visitation will be held at the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow, Sept. 28, 2018, from 12-1:45 p.m., with the funeral following at 2 p.m. Brian Hymers is the officiant, with Ruth Alton as organist. Grandchildren will act as pallbearers and flower bearers. Interment, Greenhill Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Huronlea Home For The Aged or Trinity United Church, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
