Evelyn Mary Mahood (née Savage) of Kincardine died at Tiverton Park Manor, Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019, in her 99th year. Cherished wife of the late Wilfred Graham Mahood (2005). Loving mother of Joan (David) Nurton of Owen Sound and Graham Mahood of Kincardine. Devoted grandmother of Lisa, Michael, Bryan and Angela; and great-grandmother of Julia, Ian, Isla and Quinn. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her siblings, Jack Savage, Jean (Burton) Urquhart and Walter (Elizabeth) Savage. Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019, from 12-1 p.m. The funeral to celebrate Evelyn’s life will follow at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Kathy Fraser officiating. Final resting place, Kincardine Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Paddy Walker Heritage Society, Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation or Knox Presbyterian Church, Kincardine, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
