Dorothy Hallam, formerly of RR4, Kincardine, died Dec. 22, 2015, at Pinecrest Manor, Lucknow, at the age of 82. She was the beloved wife of the late Fred Hallam who predeceased her in 2011. Dorothy was born on Sept. 24, 1933, in Goderich to the late Mary Semper and William Longmire. Dear mother of Mary Hallam and Harold Thomson of Chesley, Linda and Ron Thomson of RR1, Paisley, Judy and Wayne Murray of Ripley, and Steve and Tracy of RR4, Kincardine. Missed by her grandchildren: Royden and Laurel Thomson, Daniel and Joey Murray, and Ryan and Tyler Hallam; and by her great-granddaughter, Kenzi. Survived by her brothers, William, James and John Longmire; and sisters, Patricia Morrison, and Kathleen Longmire. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and members of her Hallam family. Visitation will be held Dec. 27, 2015, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home, Ripley, where the funeral will be held Dec. 28, 2015, at 1 p.m., with pastor Kenneth Craig officiating and Karen Martyn as organist.
