William (Bill) Robert Greavette Robinson of Guelph, formerly of Grey-Bruce, died Oct. 16, 2019, at his home, after a brave fight against cancer. He was 58. Born in Owen Sound, April 11, 1961, Bill spent most of his life in the Grey-Bruce area. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Yvonne Robinson; his sons, David Robinson and Joseph Steffler; his daughter, Vanessa Steffler (James Lawerance); his granddaughters, Sophie and Coralea Lawerance; and his mother, Ruth Anne Robinson, formerly of Huron-Kinloss Township. Also survived by his brother, Clarence (Cary) Robinson; and his sister, Lee Anne Robinson (Michael Smith). Greatly missed by his Greavette family: Thelma (Charlie) Kramer, Butch (Brenda) Greavette, Lucy (Doug) Kemp, Grace (George) Hibbs, Phyllis (George) Thorpe, and Isabelle Greavette. Remembered also by his Yetman in-laws: Barb (Doug) Rutley, Shirley Conway, Bev (John Duguay) Yetman, Gayle Yetman, Regina (Tim) Allison, Linda (Rob Smith) Duguay, and by many nieces and nephews. Bill will now walk hand-in-hand with his beloved daughter, Ashley. He is also predeceased by his father, Norman; his brother, David Greavette Robinson; and other family members: Percy Sauve, Louis, Fred, Jack and Verna Greavette; Mary Sauve and David Greavette; Walter and Donna Yetman; and Mary and Henry Duguay. Bill was an avid sports fan who could report the score of any game, if asked. He was a loyal Maple Leafs and Pittsburg Steelers supporter. He loved his fine car and was easily recognized in his 1976 yellow Camaro. He was a kind soul, willing to help whenever he was needed, and he will be truly missed in the hearts of many.
