Donald Bruce McMurray of Lucknow, died at Nine Mile Villa, Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020, at the age of 80. Born in Wingham, April 23, 1939, he was the son of the late Robert and Eleanor McMurray. Dear father of Sharon Smith of Exeter, and Rick and Karen McMurray of Lucknow. Poppa Don will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Nathan (Jackie) McMurray and Ty McMurray; and great-granddaughter, Elina, all of Lucknow. Also survived by his brother, Gordon (Sheila) McMurray of London; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother, Robert McMurray; and son-in-law, Jim Smith. Visitation will be held at the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow, Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2020, from 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Donald’s life will be held at the funeral home, Thursday, Jan. 23, 2020, at 2 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Interment, Greenhill Cemetery, Lucknow. Memorial donations to the Lucknow Firefighters Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. |
