Nancy Margaret Lippert (née Cottrill) of Kincardine, died peacefully at Huron Shores Hospice, Feb. 4, 2020, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 66. Cherished wife of Gary for 44 years. Loving mom of Steven and his partner, Colleen; step-grandma of Kelly, Chris and Larissa; and step-great-grandma of Lena. Much loved sister of Jean Tervit and her friend, Harold, of Wingham; Mike Cottrill and his wife, Donelda, of Belgrave; and Joe Cottrill and his wife, Cheryl, of Tiverton; as well as brothers- and sisters-in-law, Betty (Dave) Vere of Kincardine, Darlene (Gary) Beamsley of Kitchener, Francis (John) Beamsley of Kitchener, Judy (Jerry) Taibinger of Mildmay, Theresa Davidson (Bob) of Mildmay, Danny (Laura) Lippert of Guelph, Cathy Lippert (Tony) of Walkerton, and Elda Huber of Hanover. Treasured aunt to her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Bill and Elsie (née McIntosh) Cottrill; her brother, Billy Cottrill; and brothers-in-law, Jack Tervit and Glen Lippert. Nancy was a hairdresser in Kincardine for more than 40 years and enjoyed time spent with her clients, many of whom became close friends. She loved nothing more than hosting a party at her house and preparing delicious food, to be enjoyed by much-loved family and friends. The Lippert family thanks Dr. Lisa Denobriga, Dr. Damian Gunaratne, all the visiting nurses and PSWs, and the staff and volunteers at Huron Shores Hospice and Tiverton Park Manor, for their excellent care and support. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
