Upon retirement, Tony and Sophie toured “this great country” from coast-to-coast. In 1997, Tony and Sophie moved to Kincardine where they enjoyed daily walks by the lake, and where she swam marathons in the local pool twice a week, well into her 90s. Mom, when Dad passed away, you told us that he, maybe, was going ahead, again, to prepare a place for you. Sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, we love you and miss you, but we know that you are where you finally want to be … with the man you love, in your little cottage by the sea. God bless you both. Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, Friday, Feb. 21, 2020, from 5-8 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Kincardine, Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020, at 11 a.m., with Father Thomas Manninezhath as celebrant.
