He was always ready to tell a joke or share a funny story. Throughout his life, he enjoyed playing and watching hockey, playing cards, and he continued to excel at pool well into his 80s. Over the past decade, he spent the winter months in Arizona, making many friends and lasting memories. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and sharing family time in the summer and Christmas at the family’s ranch in British Columbia. Sincere thanks to Dr. Yan Fei Chen and the compassionate nurses and staff at the Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket. Al will be sadly missed by his family and friends in Canada and the United States. A celebration of Al’s life will be held with family and friends at a later date.
