Marianne Jeanette Greer (née Begg) of Tiverton, died peacefully, with family by her side, at Tiverton Park Manor, Sunday, June 21, 2020, in her 92nd year. Cherished wife of the late Arthur “Ernie” Ernest Greer (2003). Loving mother of her late son, Robert “Bob” Ernest (Judith) Greer, Donald Arthur (Maria Baptista) Greer, Margaret Elizabeth (Bruce) Hurlburt, and Sheila Colleen (Raymond Le Blanc) Greer. Dearly missed by her grandchildren, Tim, John, Laura, Stephanie, Chris, Owen, Hunter, Sebastian and Julian. Fondly remembered by her great-grandchildren, Tyko, Tanner, Piper, Asia, Chayse, Jorjah, Ethan, Kyan, Aiden, Teagan, Parker, Zoe, and Luke, and loved by her many step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Clem Bowman; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Robert and Margaret (née Henderson) Begg; and her brothers, John “Jack”, George and Grant Begg. Marianne was a dedicated volunteer in her community. She was a long-time member of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Glammis, and was a member of the Kincardine Legion for almost 40 years. Due to provincial restrictions, a private family graveside service will be held. Final resting place, Purdy Cemetery.
