PAUL EMILE BOUSQUET

Paul Emile Bousquet of Kincardine, died peacefully at Tiverton Park Manor, Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2020, at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Simone (née Theroux) Bousquet. Loving father of Lisa (Dan) Williams of Kitchener. Cherished brother of Jacqueline Bousquet-Rivard (the late Benoit Rivard), Jean Bousquet (the late Pierrette Lavertu), Claude Bousquet (Paulette Guilette), and Monique Bousquet-Lessard (the late Claude Lessard). Beloved uncle of Hélène, Michèle, Paul, Pierre, Lise, Jacques, Marc, Luc, Patrice, Martin, François and Vincent; as well as Anne and Pierre. Predeceased by Serge, Lise, and Micheline Theroux. Cherished uncle of Louise Clayton of Milton, Michael (Anna) Clayton of Kitchener, Trevor (Lisa) Landry of Australia, and Diane (Will) Giesbrecht of British Columbia. Dear grandfather of Brandon, Sierra, Noah, Violeta and William. Dear friend of Josephine Van de Bospoort. He will be deeply missed by the many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who knew him. Paul was born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, and settled in Kincardine where he worked at Bruce Power for many years. He was an active member of the St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church. An avid and skilled tennis player, he was a member of the Kincardine Tennis Club, and enjoyed playing bridge, crosswords, and a good game of chess. Due to provincial restrictions, a private memorial mass will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Kincardine. Final resting place, Saint Michel Cemetery in Sherbrooke, Quebec. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society Grey-Bruce, Huron Shores Hospice, or a charity of your choice, would be appreciated; arrangements entrusted to the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine; www.daveylinklaterfuneralhome.com/.
